Seaboard has been a power supplier to private large users since 2001 through long term PPAs at negotiated prices. Through these contracts, Seaboard provides power to clients for whom the quality of the power supply is a critical issue. The main industrial free zones, plastic and ceramic manufacturers in the Dominican Republic figure prominently on among our client roster. We provide a service that includes the continuous 24 hours / 7 days a week monitoring of the client substation and its supply of power through our Dispatch Center. Because of this, our clients very seldom have interruptions in their supply. When interruptions are programmed (in advance for transmission line maintenance), these are normally advised in advance to our clients so that the required coordination for emergency backup supply can be arranged prior to the power interruption.
